70% agree to abolish the executive
A recent poll has revealed that 70% of the people in Sri Lanka agree to abolish the post of Executive President.
Verité Research conducted the poll. According to the survey, only 15% said that the position of the executive presidency should be continued subject to any amendments. The remaining 15% have not expressed any opinion in this regard.
This information was revealed in a survey conducted by Verité Research covering the entire island last June.
