Delays on main line after train collides with car

Sri Lanka Railways has said that services along the main line are delayed after a train collided with a car at Wanawasala today (Nov. 05) evening.

The vehicle, which had disregarded the railway signals had collided with a train from Colombo Fort to Polgahawela.

The driver, who was the sole traveller in the car, had been hospitalised with critical injuries, reports say.
