A meeting between New Zealand High Commissioner and leader of NPP
A meeting between the New Zealand High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Michael Appleton and the leader of the National People’s Power (NPP), Anura Dissanayake, was held on the 4th at J.V.P. head office.
Information Secretary of the JVP Vijitha Herath, MP of the NPP and Deputy High Commissioner of New Zealand Andrew Traveller, policy adviser of that office Sumudu Jayasinghe, also attended the meeting.
The current economic and political situation in the country and the policies of the NPP were discussed. Also, attention was paid to increasing mutual understanding between the two parties.
