Behind the stage recruitment to state banks
It is revealed that the candidates are recruited according to the lists of ministers, completely ignoring the examination results to fill the vacancies in government banks conducted by the Sri Lanka Examination Department.
The results of the competitive examination for recruitment to the State and Investment Bank have been handed over to the bank by the examination department. However, candidates who sat the exam allege that personnel are being recruited according to the ministers’ lists without considering the examination results. Each of these candidates has spent close to one hundred thousand rupees for this examination, which includes support classes and other expenditures.
The results of the competitive examination held for recruitment to the Bank of Ceylon are to be released shortly. Despite this, there is a strong suspicion that the recruitment will also be done according to a document sent by the government ministers.
