Cabinet Spokesman - Bandula Gunawardena has China has agreed to provide a portion of the school uniform material for the year 2023, upon the request of the Sri Lankan government.

He said this during today's (23) Cabinet briefing.

He said that cabinet approval was granted to obtain the remaining amount of fabric required from local suppliers.
