Construction sector suffers due to raw material shortage

The National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) said 95% of the construction projects have stalled due to the shortage of raw materials.

NCASL Vice-President M. D. Paul said import restrictions was another issue.

He said that the economy of a large number of people depending on the construction sector has been severely affected.
