Dushmantha Chameera injured ; ruled out of Asia Cup
Sri Lanka pacer Dushmantha Chameera has been ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 due to an injury.
He was in the 20-man squad named for the six-nation tournament to be played in Dubai starting August 27.
In an Instagram post, Fielding Coach of the National Team - Anton Roux has said that he hopes Dushmantha will "bounce back stronger for the World Cup in Australia come October."
Sri Lanka has already lost Kasun Rajitha and Binura Fernando from the initial squad due to injuries.
