Eric Solheim – an adviser to Ranil now!
It is revealed that Erik Solheim, who worked as Norway’s special negotiator for the signing of the ceasefire agreement with the LTTE during the 2002-2004 regime, has also been appointed as the international climate advisor to Ranil Wickremesinghe.
During the signing of the peace agreement, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe overrode the executive president Chandrika Bandaranaike and signed the agreement with the LTTE organization with foreign intervention, including Eric Solheim. After remaining silent for nearly two decades, Ranil Wickramasinghe has once again engaged in highly close diplomatic relations with Eric Solheim.
