EU worried about how the ‘Prevention of Terrorism Act’ is used

The European Union is concerned about reports of the government’s use of the Prevention of Terrorism Act in recent arrests in Sri Lanka, the EU delegation in Sri Lanka said.
The representative office of the European Union in this country states that it also recalls the information the government gave to the international community on an unofficial level that the Prevention of Terrorism Act will not be used.
