Gotabaya coming back to politics is a joke – SM. Chandrasena

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s returning to politics is a joke, says SM Chandrasena, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’s Anuradhapura District Member of Parliament.
He said this at a press conference held at the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna party headquarters at Nelum Mawatha in Battaramulla.
Member of Parliament SM Chandrasena has said that even though 6.9 million people voted and appointed Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the President, he was unable to function in that office, and it is a joke that he is coming back to politics again after running away from the post of President.
S.M. Chandrasena has said that he did not think that he would return to politics after leaving the position, though he left that position respectably. MP Chandrasena said he respects Gotabaya leaving the Presidency.
Speaking further, MP Chandrasena has said that it was not clear what Gotabaya was going to do if he returned to politics as he was unable to fulfil his duties as President.
