India attempts to grab Sri Lanka’s oil refinery – a proposal is already presented

According to sources, the Indian government has submitted a proposal to the Sri Lankan government to build an oil refinery in Trincomalee under a situation where the oil refining activities in Sri Lanka have been stopped. The Trincomalee oil tank complex has also been requested for an Indian project, and it is said that this fuel refinery will be built outside of that. It is also reported that appointed President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who has no mandate, is scheduled to visit India after the coming Sinhala and Hindu New Year.
