Interim Budget: SJB & Dullas' group to refrain from voting

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) said today that it has decided to refrain from voting during the interim Budget vote which will be held today (02).

SJB MP Thushara Indunil revealed the decision and it was also confirmed by SJB General Secretary MP Ranjith Maddumabandara.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Chairman Prof. G.L. Peiris said their group led by MP Dullas Alahapperuma has also decided to refrain from voting during the interim Budget vote. The SLPP group recently sat in the Opposition in Parliament.

Meanwhile, the Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) said that it will reveal its decision on the voting at a press conference scheduled to be held this afternoon.
