Specific decisions should be taken immediately to protect industrialists in Sri Lanka without having talk shows, says Anura Dissanayake, the Leader of the National People’s Power.
Speaking in Parliament today (7th), he emphasized that the victims of the current economic crisis are not those who are responsible for it and that the strategy of shrinking the economy led by Central Bank Governor Nandalal Weerasinghe and others is having a severe impact on the entrepreneurs of this country. He said immediate action should be taken to protect them.
He emphasized that the small and medium-scale industrialists of our country, who have started with hard work on a small scale with a specific vision, have become the victims of this economic crisis. Measures should be taken immediately to stop the auctioning of their properties and added that if they further fall into the precipice, it will be more challenging to recover the economy of this country.
