Navy emerge champion in Kabaddi at 12th Defence Services Games

Sri Lanka Navy emerged women's champion in Kabaddi at 12th Defence Services Games. The tournament was held at the indoor stadium of Air Force Base, Katunayake on 12th and 13th January 2023.

The Kabaddi tournament was organized by the Defence Services Sports Board and the highly-anticipated final match of the tournament was held between the women's teams of the Navy and Army. Both sides put up a strong fight in the final, however, the Navy ultimately came out on top beating the army 36 -20.

Woman Leading Seaman RPM Chathurika of the Navy was adjudged the player of the tournament.
