The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has issued a clarification on reports circulating on social media on a dispute between the Governor of the bank and Prime Minister - Ranil Wickremesinghe.

In a Twitter threat, the CBSL has said that Governor, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe rejects the social media reports.
