Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Theppakkadu Elephant Camp at Mudumalai in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. During this, he interacted with elephant caretakers Bailey and Bowman, who appeared in the Oscar-winning documentary. Modi expressed happiness on meeting the couple. The Prime Minister also briefly visited the tiger reserve. Modi also fed sugarcane to some elephants at Theppakkadu camp of the tiger reserve here. He later talks with Bailey and Bowman.
