By: Isuru Parakrama Colombo (LNW): The Sri Lanka Police has been summoned before the Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts (CoPA) to being examined for its current performance and to review the Auditor’ General’s reports, Committee Chief State Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna said. Accordingly, the Police has been instructed to report to CoPA on April 26, 2023. Meanwhile, the Department of Samurdhi Development has also been summoned to appear at the Committee on April 25, 2023, to being examined for its performance and to review the Auditor General’s reports on the body.
