Protestors decide to hand over public properties

Protesters have reportedly decided to withdraw from the President’s House, Presidential Secretariat, Temple Trees and the Office of the Prime Minister with immediate effect.

The announcement was made during a media briefing conducted by a group of protesters.

They said the move is aimed at restoring peace in the country.

In a media release yesterday (13), the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has also urged protestors to hand back the state property.

Protestors had stormed the President's House, Presidential Secretariat and Temple Trees on July 09 and the PM's office yesterday (13).
