Ranil’s bankruptcy out from national television
All the professors who took part in the political dialogue “Karata Kara” broadcast on National Television last Monday under the title “How to overcome economic challenges?” revealed that the measures taken by the 8th President Ranil Wickremesinghe have failed in various ways.
Renowned economic experts who participated in this conversation were Professor M. Thilakasiri, Professor Kennedy Gunawardena, Professor Anil Jayantha and Professor Asanka Dunusinghe.
They generally agreed that no foreign aid or foreign loans other than humanitarian aid would be received by Raanil Wickremesinghe government. They pointed out that political stability and national and international trust in political leadership are essential to receive assistance or loans and said no action had been taken to resolve the current crisis.
