Severe shortage of air traffic controllers
It has been revealed that 38 air traffic controllers have left the country recently due to economic problems.
They have been forced to leave the country due to the economic crisis and the high salaries and facilities provided by civil aviation companies in foreign countries.
It is further reported that there is a severe shortage of air traffic controllers in Sri Lanka due to this situation.
