SL President pays his respects to the late Queen

President Ranil Wickremesinghe, accompanied by Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe and Sri Lankan High Commissioner - Saroja Sirisena, paid their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall a short while ago today (18).

The Queen has been lying in state at Westminster Hall, London since Wednesday, when her coffin was conveyed in a somber procession that saw King Charles III, Princes William and Harry and other senior royals follow behind on foot. It will remain here until the morning of the Queen’s state funeral tomorrow (19).
