By: Isuru Parakrama Colombo (LNW): Sri Lanka will be seeking further technical support and financial assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the spheres of digitisation, agriculture, renewable energy and financial sector stability, said Foreign Minister Ali Sabry, following a meeting with ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa today (02). The Foreign Minister added that during the meeting, the ADB President expressed his appreciation for the “encouraging work Sri Lanka has done so far to avert a greater crisis and for laying a strong foundation” for the recovery of Sri Lanka. The ADB pledged to continue engaging with renewed vigour in diverse and important areas of interest, Sabry added.
