The Sri Lankan team qualified for the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Women's T20 Championship today after winning the match against Bangladesh by 3 runs.

According to the D/L method, Bangladesh faced a target of 41 runs in 7 overs.

However, their innings was limited to 37 runs for 7 wickets. Inoka Ranaweera ripped through the Bangladesh batting order, bagging 04 wickets. With this Sri Lanka clinched a 03-run win and a spot in the semi finals.
