The leader of NPP, Anura Disanaka, revealed this in Parliament that State Minister Arundika Fernando’s statement confirmed that the facts first presented to the Parliament by Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa regarding the investigation process related to the destruction of the X-Press Pearl ship within the territorial limits of Sri Lanka are false and those involved in it are also present in this House.
It was revealed that a bribe of US$250 million has been involved using Chamara Gunasekara, MPs Nalaka Godaheva, Ajith Mannapperuma as the related account number and bank etc. was revealed by Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa which indicates that “something has happened – the people involved in it are also in this chamber,” Said Mr Dissanayake.
He said emphasized that massive fraud and corruption have been continuously revealed behind all the severe tragedies that occurred in this country and that the same process is being carried out in the face of the largest chemical ocean destruction in the history of the world.
