Survey reveals people have greater confidence in Anura!
A survey has revealed that the political leader who the majority of the people believe will take the right steps to solve the country's economic crisis is the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
This has been revealed in a survey conducted by Social Indicator, the survey and research division of the Center for Policy Alternative.
According to this survey, with 48.5% of votes, it is said that the people have faith in the JVP leader to do the right thing to solve the economic crisis.
In the face of the economic and political crisis that Sri Lanka is facing, this poll has been designed with the aim of capturing the public's experience, their opinion on the struggle and the various aspects of the current economic and political crisis.
In addition, the people believe that the politicians namely President Ranil Wickremesinghe, opposition leader Sajith Premadasa and Dallas Alahapperuma will provide solutions to the economic crisis respectively.
In the survey related to the perception of young people leading the 'Gotagogama' struggle, 84.3% of people believe that, with the aim of reforming the country for a better democracy, it should be led by civic-minded young people.
Nearly 82% of the people did not agree with the accusation that the youth involved in the struggle are connected to violent groups.
Also, 83.4% of the country's people have agreed to the demands of the protesters/public, who demand the establishment of an all-party interim government until the country recovers from the economic crisis.
