Its Chairman Deepti Kularatne said that accordingly the distribution of 850,000 Thriposha packets has already commenced.
However, it has not yet been possible to issue Thriposha for children.
The chairman stated that due to the shortage of maize and soybeans, there have been obstacles to the regular production of thriphosha.
He also stated that agreements have been made with suppliers for the import of maize and soy beans under the Indian Credit Scheme.
