The controversial Chinese research vessel Yuan Wang 5 is scheduled to depart the Hambantota Port at 4 pm today (22), Harbor Master Captain Nirmal Silva said.

It is learnt that the vessel departing from Hambantota Port will return to China.

However, Mr. Silva said the exact next destination of the vessel can only be identified based on the information to be provided to the Sri Lanka Customs during the port clearance today.
