Sri Lankan sprinter - Yupun Abeykoon has won the Bronze medal at the in 100m mens' finals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games currently being held at Birmingham.

He clocked 10.14 s at the event.

This is said to be Sri Lanka's 4th ever athletics medal at a Commonwealth Games and the first since 1998.
