The students union of Gampaha Wickramarachchi Local Medical University met NPP Leader Anura Dissanayake at the JVP head office today (29th) afternoon.
The student union drew the attention of NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake about the current crisis situation at the Gampaha Wickramarachchi Local Medical University.
The students pointed out that despite being named the 16th university in Sri Lanka in 2021, the project to make it a university by establishing new faculties having the same facilities it had as an academy has failed and the students have to face many problems. They asked NPP leader to raise his voice regarding their issues in Parliament.
