The Chinese ship, Ali Sabri told India not allowed to enter Sri Lanka, here today
The Chinese ship “Shi Yan 6”, currently under international controversy, is scheduled to dock at the port of Colombo today (25th).
Commenting on this matter, Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabri says that the ship was given permission to come to Sri Lanka.
Earlier, it was announced that the ship was allowed to arrive in Ssri Lanka in November.
However, when the Indian news service ANI asked Minister Ali Sabri on September 26, quoting the Daily Mirror newspaper of this country, whether the Chinese research ship Shi Yan 6 was scheduled to arrive in this country in October, he emphasized that no permission had been given to the ship to dock here.
In that interview, he had said, “As far as I know, we have not allowed the ship to come to Sri Lanka in October. So, negotiations are going on. Indian security issues are very important, very important. We always consider it because we want to keep our region a peaceful region.” It is how Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabri had emphasized to the Indian news service ANI.
