IMF meets NPP

A meeting took place between the International Monetary Fund and representatives of the National People’s Power at the head office of the JVP yesterday (18).
IMF’s head of operations for Sri Lanka, Peter Breuer, Ms Sarvath Jahan, the resident representative of the IMF, and Manavee Abeywickrama (IMF staff) represented the IMF while NPP Member of Parliament Dr Harini Amarasuriya, Sunil Hadunneththi representing the NPP Economic Council, Professor Anil Jayantha, Economic Analyst, Dr Harshana Suriyapperuma and National Executive Member of the NPP Muditha Nanayakkara participated representing the NPP.
