March 05, Colombo (LNW): Basil Rajapaksa, former Sri Lankan Minister and Founder of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), returned to Sri Lanka this (05) morning after a trip to the United States of America following the change in government. Upon his arrival, Rajapaksa mentioned to reporters that no official decision has been made regarding candidates for the upcoming elections. He stated his commitment to leading the SLPP’s preparations for elections regardless of their nature.
