The Puttalam district has greatly contributed to the success of the District Conferences held by the National People’s Power to politically empower women across Sri Lanka, with the theme “We women profusely for NPP.”
National People’s Power Member of Parliament Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, many performing artists, and political activists attended the conference on the 23rd. General Secretary of the JVP Tilvin Silva, Dr. Chandana Abeyratne, also addressed the conference.
