World Bank also supports Anura Kumara

The World Bank Group has extended its warmest congratulations to Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who was elected as the 9th Executive President of Sri Lanka.
World Bank South Asia Vice President Martin Riser and International Finance Corporation Asia and Pacific Vice President Riccardo Puliti sent a special message to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. It assured that they will continuously support Sri Lanka’s economic recovery and development.
The message states that the opportunity for economic growth, prosperity, and development is equally important while recognizing that the continuous support of the state is necessary for the recovery of the country’s economy.
The letter also states that the World Bank Group is committed to supporting the leadership of the new administration in Sri Lanka to meet the needs of the country’s most vulnerable people and achieve inclusive growth.
