Anusha Gokula Fernando Appointed Uva Province Chief Secretary

Anusha Gokula Fernando has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Uva Province by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, with the appointment taking effect immediately.

The official letter of appointment was handed over this morning (28) by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat.

Fernando, a Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, previously held the post of Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Cultural & Arts, Sports & Youth Affairs, and Information Technology in the Western Province. She brings decades of public administration experience to her new leadership role in the Uva Provincial Council.
