CEB workers call in sick

Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) employees have decided to go on ‘sick leave’ today (Sept. 17) as part of a trade union action.

Chairman of the CEB Technical Engineers’ Union – Kosala Abeysinghe stated that this marks the start of the second phase of their ongoing “work-to-rule” TU action.
