August 06, Colombo (LNW): The University Grants Commission (UGC) has commenced the online registration process for students offered places at Sri Lanka’s state universities under the normal intake based on the results of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The online registration portal is now open and will accept applications until August 14. The UGC has also announced that students who wish to challenge their university placements or seek a review of their selections may submit appeals up to August 21.
Officials have urged all applicants who have been selected for admission to complete the registration process within the prescribed deadline, noting that timely registration is essential to confirm their acceptance of the university places offered.
The UGC has further advised prospective undergraduates to carefully follow the published admission guidelines and ensure that all required information is submitted accurately during the registration process.
Students requiring additional information on online registration, admission procedures or the appeals process have been encouraged to visit the UGC’s official website, where detailed instructions and relevant updates are available.
