A force of 1800 to protect two criminals!

Nearly 1,800 security forces have been deployed to protect former Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who committed the national crime of bankrupting Sri Lanka.
It has been revealed that about 850 personnel for Gotabaya Rajapaksa and 950 for Mahinda Rajapaksa have been deployed for their security. Two special security teams under an Inspector General of Police are being deployed for these two. Also, additional protection is provided whenever they attend special occasions.
Such a security force has been deployed with all the relevant privileges as former presidents despite the Supreme Court’s decision that these two are directly responsible for the collapse of Sri Lanka’s economy.
