Can’t Rule Out All Out War With India: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Asif

Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Wednesday said that his country will not rule out an all-out war with India.
His statement comes after Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi made a bold statement likening India's recent military action to a mere "trailer" - prompting Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif to warn of a possible full-scale war.
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that an all-out war with India cannot be ruled out following Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi's remarks about Operation Sindoor, a swift retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, and the evolution of India's military strategy.

Trailer Ended in 88 Hours": India's Message to Pakistan
Speaking ahead of the Chanakya Defence Dialogue, General Dwivedi referred to Operation Sindoor, India's swift retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. He said, "The movie hasn't even started. We just showed them a trailer, and that trailer ended in 88 hours." He added that India is fully prepared to respond decisively if provoked again.
Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, targeted terror infrastructure across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), concluding with a ceasefire on May 10. It marked a significant shift in India's counter-terror strategy - fast, focused, and firm.

Red Fort Blast & Deterrence
When asked about the October 11 Red Fort blast and whether India's deterrence strategy is effective, General Dwivedi affirmed that India's growing military strength and political resolve are working. "Today, we have deterrence, and the other side believes we will act if they do something wrong," he said.
What This Means for India
For Indian citizens, these developments underscore the country's assertive stance on national security. The Army Chief's remarks signal a clear shift - India is no longer content with reactive diplomacy. Instead, it's embracing proactive deterrence backed by military readiness.
