Ceylon Chamber of Commerce meets NPP
A discussion took place between a delegation of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the National People’s Power (NPP), including its leader, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, at the head office of the JVP today (31) morning.
There was a lengthy discussion regarding the issues faced by the business sector in Sri Lanka in the face of the economic and political crisis and the NPP’s policy approaches to solve the economic crisis.
On behalf of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, its president, Duminda Hulangamuwa, local managing partner of Ernst & Young, Bigumal Thevarathantri of Standard Chartered Bank, Supun Weerasinghe, chief executive officer of Dialog Asiata, and Mutasa Jafferjee, president of Advocate Institute, were present for this meeting.
In addition to Comrade Anura Dissanayake, the General Secretary of the JVP, Tilvin Silva, National Executive Members of NPP KD Lalkantha, Vijitha Herath, and Engineer Kumara Jayakodi participated in representing the NPP.
