After marking time from 29 July until today (8 August), Wildlife and Forest Conservation Minister Pavitra Wanniarachchi has announced that she will extend her support to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

It is noteworthy that Pavithra Wanniarachchi left the Rajapaksa family even 24 hours before the announcement that Namal Rajapaksa was running as the presidential candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
