India Reaffirms Strong Support to Sri Lanka in Disaster Response – PM Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured Sri Lanka of India’s unwavering support during times of disaster, reaffirming the country’s commitment under the Neighbourhood First Policy and Ocean Vision.

In a message posted on his official X account, Prime Minister Modi stated that India has already extended immediate relief and essential humanitarian assistance through the Sagar Bandhu operation. He further emphasized India’s readiness to provide additional aid and support as needed in the coming days.

The Indian Prime Minister also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Sri Lankan people who lost loved ones due to Cyclone Ditva, wishing safety, comfort, and a quick recovery for all affected families.
