Dear Comrade To Lam,
Greetings from JVP Sri Lanka!
We, the Central Committee of the People’s Liberation Front –JVP Sri Lanka, congratulate Comrade To Lam on his appointment as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and wish him every success. Comrade To Lam has been serving as the 13th President of Vietnam since May 2024.
Comrade Lâm was admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam on 22 August 1981 and has served various branches of the CPV, the Vietnamese government, and concurrently as the president of Vietnam. We believe that Comrade To Lam would continue the legacy of comrades Ho Chi Minh and Nguyen Phu Trong, the CPV strategy for achieving Vietnam’s socioeconomic development goals, and the campaign against corruption.
Vietnam, under the leadership of the Communist Party, has become a beacon for the world, especially for the neocolonized countries, for decades. We are certain that Comrade To Lam, with his strong leadership, will guide the Communist Party of Vietnam and the progressive masses in Vietnam to fulfill their share of making the world an amicable place for all humans to live.
Once again, we wish Comrade To Lam every success and express our hope that the relations between our two peoples in Vietnam and Sri Lanka will play an essential and promising part in their path to change the world to a better place for humanity.
