Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries Mahinda Amaraweera and Members of Parliament Duminda Dissanayake and Lasantha Alagiyawanna have been removed from their positions and membership in the Sri Lanka Freedom Party with immediate effect.
Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries Mahinda Amaraweera was the senior vice president of the party, Member of Parliament Duminda Dissanayake was the party’s national organizer, and Member of Parliament Lasantha Alagiyawanna was the treasurer.
These decisions were taken at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party’s executive council meeting, which called all the constituency organizers and executive committee members to the party headquarters today (30).
