Nalaka Godahewa – a stumbling block for Sajith

The questions asked in the Parliament by Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the Samagi Jana Balavegaya, regarding compensation for the damages caused by the fire of the Express Pearl ship, have boomeranged on him.
Answering the questions, Anuradha Jayaratne stated in Parliament yesterday (9) that Dr. Nalaka Godaheva, the main accused in undermining this compensation, has joined forces with Sajith Premadasa. It has been further stated that Dr. Nalaka Godaheva has intervened without informing Gotabaya Rajapaksa or the Attorney General regarding the destruction of both Express Pearl and New Diamond in the Sri Lankan waters.
Various media reports have revealed that Nalaka Godaheva is manipulating to get the position of Finance Minister if Sajith Premadasa is elected President.
