The National People’s Power has now won the majority in the Parliament. Accordingly, the number of seats won by all parties are:
National People’s Power – 123
Samagi Jana Balawegaya – 31
Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi – 6
New Democratic Front – 3
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna – 2
United National Party – 1
Democratic Tamil National Alliance – 1
Sri Lanka Muslim Congresස – 1
All Ceylon Tamil Congress – 1
Independent Group 17 – 1
Sri Lanka Labour Party – 1
