November 15, Colombo (LNW): The National Peoples Power (NPP) secured victory in the Polonnaruwa District in the 2024 General Election, securing 04 parliamentary seats;

National Peoples Power (NPP): 159,010 (68.67%) – 04 seats
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 43,822 (18.92%) – 01 seat
Sarvajana Balaya (SB): 8,587 (3.71%)
New Democratic Front (NDF): 5,153 (2.23%)
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 4,646 (2.01%)
