The protests reflect mounting anger over recent violence in PoJK, where clashes with police have intensified, and 12 civilians have reportedly been killed, with over 200 injured.

Protesters Confront Pakistani Consul

A video circulating on social media shows a heated confrontation between British-Kashmiri protesters and the Pakistani Consul General, who allegedly left through a back door and entered his vehicle quickly amid demands for accountability. Protesters expressed outrage over the killing of civilians and accused the diplomat of avoiding engagement.

Another claimed that over 20 civilians had died and more than 200 were injured in the recent clashes. The crowd waved flags, chanted slogans, and demanded justice for the victims in PoJK.

Escalating Unrest in PoJK

Back in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, mass protests and shutdowns continue under the leadership of the Joint Awami Action Committee, demanding basic rights, economic relief, and political autonomy. Violence from the authorities has further fueled public anger, with 12 fatalities and over 200 injuries reported so far.

In Geneva, leaders of the UKPNP called for international intervention, condemning Pakistan's suppression of dissent. The unrest highlights a widespread and unified pushback against years of neglect and broken promises by the Pakistani state.
