“We are ready to make the change together with Anura” – Sumanthiran

MA Sumanthiran MP, a member of Tamil Arusu Kachchi, emphasizes that the statement made by NPP  leader Anura Dissanayake in Jaffna is not racist and that he is also ready to make the change that the whole country wants along with Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
He said this in response to President Ranil Wickramasinghe’s speech in response to a statement made by presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the National People’s Force rallies held in Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Jaffna on the 5th.
MA Sumanthiran of Tamil Arasu Kachchi emphasizes, “The change we expect could be achieved when  Comrade Anura Kumara Dissanayake wins. We know this change will really come when we work together with the JVP. We would be a stakeholder of the change. We would never distance ourselves from this change. Don’t consider what Comrade Anura Dissanayake said as racist. I know him well. I believe that he did not mean any rcism in his speeches. However, during the election period, various interpretations can be given. However, a country without duplicity or bribery could be built where people participate in governance. We are committed to making a change. We are prepared to work with him and his party.”
However, President Ranil Wickramasinghe, who is suffering from the need to stir up racism, says that Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the presidential candidate of the NPP, when he has clearly said that he is “appealing”, that he has threatened and intimidated the North.
