Sri Lankan Rupee’s position at official exchange rates

Colombo (LNW): The Sri Lankan Rupee indicates a slight appreciation against the US Dollar today (27) in comparison to yesterday, following days of depreciation, revealed the official exchange rates list of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). Accordingly, the buying price of the US Dollar has dropped to Rs. 322.84 from Rs. 323.69, and the selling price to Rs. 335.89 from Rs. 337.17. The Sri Lankan Rupee, however, indicates depreciation against several other foreign currencies, whilst it has slightly appreciated against Gulf currencies as well.
